You can identify any Company for which reports are to be generated and licensed. At that time, you will pay a fee of US$499. This fee includes the setup and processing of your request, and includes the Executive Summary Report. The Executive Summary Report is the key report that gets to the core of the most interesting numbers. However, if you prefer, the initial US$499 price can be applied to the purchase of any report instead of receiving the Executive Summary Report.

A Quantify IP analyst then communicates with you via email to make sure the request is clear. Reports are then generated, and uploaded to the Quantify IP web site. The process takes a few days.

You can then go to the Quantify IP web site, view the Executive Summary Report, and purchase other reports. Prices are based on the number of filings in the Company's patent portfolio.

There are two reports that are priced based on the money that you could potentially save by accessing the information contained within the reports. These are the Ungranted Aging Detail Report and the Expiring Patents Detail Report. You pay a very small fraction of the potential cost savings (0.1% to 0.25%, or less for larger reports).

The Ungranted Aging Summary Report (included free of charge when purchasing the Ungranted Aging Detail Report and/or the Executive Summary Report) shows the total maintenance costs being paid for excessively long pending applications in each country. The Ungranted Aging Detail Report shows exactly which particular applications are in this situation. By examining each Detail row, the analyst can determine whether to abandon the application or not. The Ungranted Aging Summary Report, as well as the Executive Summary Report, shows 10 lines of the Ungranted Aging Detail Report, as an example of what is available.

The Expiring Patents Summary Report (included free of charge when purchasing the Expiring Patents Detail Report and/or the Executive Summary Report) shows the total maintenance costs being paid in each country for granted patents that will expire in the next five years. The Expiring Patents Detail Report shows exactly which particular patents are in this situation. By examining each Detail row, the Analyst can determine whether to abandon the patent or whether to license/sell the patent. The Expiring Patents Summary Report, as well as the Executive Summary Report, shows 10 lines of the Expiring Patents Detail Report, as an example of what is available.
